Booking Policy
To secure your appointment, a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking. This deposit can be made via Cash, Cash App, Zelle, or Apple Pay. Appointments without a deposit are subject to cancellation and may not be honored. Deposits must be paid within 24 hours of scheduling; failure to do so may result in the cancellation of your appointment. Payment of the deposit signifies your agreement to all JDLifeVisuals policies. For non-commercial collaborations or creative projects without monetary compensation, JDLifeVisuals retains full rights to all photos captured and may use them at their discretion.
Payment Policy
All sessions must be paid in full either before the shoot date or immediately after the session. Accepted payment methods include Cash, Cash App, or Apple Pay. Checks are not accepted. If the client is more than 15 minutes late to a session, a $20 late fee will apply. Please note that session end times will not be extended to compensate for client tardiness.
Cancellation Policy
Deposits serve as a cancellation fee if you are unable to attend your scheduled session. To receive credit for your deposit toward a future session or qualify for a partial (50%) refund, you must provide at least 72 hours’ notice of cancellation. If cancellation is made less than 24 hours before the session, no refunds will be issued. However, clients will have the option to reschedule at no additional cost, provided the new session is scheduled within three months and fits the photographer’s availability. Clients with a history of repeated cancellations may be denied future bookings.
If JDLife Visuals is unable to fulfill the contract due to unforeseen circumstances such as emergencies, illness, natural disasters, or other events beyond control, the deposit will be refunded. However, no additional liability will be assumed. This policy also applies in cases where photographic materials are lost, damaged, or otherwise compromised due to equipment malfunction, processing errors, or other uncontrollable factors. In the rare event of failure for reasons outside these parameters, the maximum liability is limited to the total amount paid by the client.
